Agentic business layer

The agent-ready business layer.

An agent-ready business layer is the structured, governed record of how your company runs, so AI agents can discover it, understand it, and act on its behalf. We build it, starting with the business brain.

01 / The shift

How customers reach you is changing.

For thirty years the path ran through a website and a human. The next path runs through agents acting for the customer.

02 / Definition

What an agent-ready layer actually is.

An agent cannot act on a brochure. It needs a structured answer to the questions any buyer asks: what you offer, at what price, on what terms, what you can and cannot promise, and how you actually handle a customer. In most companies that knowledge is scattered across inboxes, spreadsheets, chat threads, and the owner's head.

The agent-ready business layer is one current, structured, permissioned record of how the business runs. Its first and most important user is the business's own agent, which makes the layer useful on day one, for an audience of one, with no marketplace to wait for.

Once the agent-ready layer exists, the same record makes you legible to outside agents and lets you run your own governed agent. Marketing, sales, and CRM become modules on it.
03 / Why now

Why this matters this year.

The shift
Discovery is moving to agents.
When a customer's assistant does the finding and comparing, a business it cannot read is simply not in the set. Being agent-ready is the new being-found.
Timing
The rails are being poured.
Agent payment and integration standards are arriving fast. Be structured now, plug in as they settle.
Root cause
Fragmented knowledge.
No agent, and often no owner, holds one trustworthy answer about the business. Structuring it is the unlock.
Outcome
Structured businesses win the shift.
Legible, current, governed: the three things an outside agent needs before it will recommend or transact with you.
04 / The approach

Structure, act, be found. Governed.

01
Discover
Pull scattered knowledge into one current, structured record: products, pricing, policies, process.
02
Act
A governed agent is built to answer, qualify, and draft quotes and replies, with a human confirm step.
03
Be found
Syndicate the record to the surfaces outside agents already read, through open standards.
04
Governed
Row-level access and a full audit trail, built in from the schema up. See AI governance.
05 / Questions

Common questions.

What is an agent-ready business layer?

It is a structured, current, governed record of a company's offerings, pricing, policies, and process, exposed so AI agents can discover the business, understand what it offers, and act on its behalf with permission.

Why does a business need to be agent-ready?

As customers increasingly rely on AI agents to find, compare, and transact, businesses that are not legible to those agents become invisible to them. Being agent-ready means an agent can read, trust, and act on your business.

How is this different from a CRM or a website?

A website is built for humans to read and a CRM stores contacts and deals. The agent-ready layer is the structured source of truth about how the business runs, which both your own agent and outside agents can act on. Marketing, sales, and CRM become modules on top of it.

Is it safe to let an agent act for my business?

It is when governance comes first. The approach is designed so that owner confirmation is required before any outbound action, with row-level access control and a full audit trail, aligned to PDPA and GDPR rules on automated decisions. See AI governance.

Can I start before the AI standards settle?

Yes. The layer is useful on day one because its first user is your own agent. It is built on open standards such as the Model Context Protocol and structured data, and keeps payment and discovery rails as adapters, so you are not locked to any one standard.
